We Sell Farm & Ranch Real Estate...Differently

Connect to Reck Agri with Social Media

Social Media is described by Wikipedia as "web-based and mobile based technologies which are used to turn communication into interactive dialogue between organizations, communities, and individuals"...and it does just that! Reck Agri is currently engaging in this area of communication because it offers an immediate interaction with our clients and current audience. We want our audience to get first-hand knowledge about new farm auctions, land auctions, and agricultural properties for sale. You may also be interested to know that the Social Media community is becoming more and more popular "in the field" with the development of smartphones and instant communication worldwide, and we at Reck Agri are excited to be using these tools now.

Please join us on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Google Plus and YouTube.

To learn about each one, follow along below. But first, you may be asking, "what are those little blue icons on each page below the 1-800 number?"

reck agri, facebook, twitter, google plus, linkedin

FACEBOOK- Facebook is the first icon at the top right of our site. You can click this icon to go directly to Reck Agri's Facebook Page! Here is what our page looks like:

Facebook is a social networking service and website launched in February 2004, with over 900 million active users. Reck Agri has been using Facebook to post immediate auction results after an auction, right from the site of the auction. We'll often show a photo of the final bid screen so you can see exactly what the farm or land property sold for and how it sold (parcels, combos, etc). If you have a smart phone that you use Facebook on, you can set up your preferences to receive those post alerts on your phone instantly.

We also use Facebook to post each new property for sale along with auction details and a link to our website for further information about the property. Within our Facebook page, there are other sections where you can see our blog, see which events (auctions) are coming up, watch the auction live, directly from Facebook, plus other things as well. As users, and if you "Like" Reck Agri Realty & Auction on FB (Facebook), you can also converse with other users back and forth on our wall under any of our posts. If you haven't already, register to set up a Facebook account, click on the Facebook icon at the top of our homepage to visit the Reck Agri Page, and "Like" us to take advantage of this new tool Reck Agri is using.

LINKEDIN- The second icon with "in" is Linkedin. You can click this icon to go directly to Reck Agri's Linkedin Page! Here is what our page looks like:

Linkedin is a business-related social networking site with more than 150 million registered users. LinkedIn was launched in May 2003 and it is mainly used for professional networking. Reck Agri will be using Linkedin as a tool to give auction results and updates, announcements about auctions and other Reck Agri news, and communicate with you in a timely manner. Not only does Reck Agri have a business page, but owner and auctioneer, Marc Reck, also has his own private page in which he can connect with you as well. His page is shown below. If you are a banker, lawyer, landowner, or any professional related to the real estate and ag industry, click here to "connect" with Marc and hit the yellow button on his page. Otherwise, click the LinkedIn icon to "connect" to Reck Agri's business page where you will continue to get updated information.

TWITTER- Twitter is the third icon with the "t" at the top of our site. You can click this icon to go directly to Reck Agri's Twitter Page! Here is what our page looks like:

Twitter is an online social networking service and microblogging service that was created in March, 2006. Twitter enables users to send and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets." In 2012, Twitter reported over 140 million active users. It has been described as "the SMS (text messaging) of the Internet." Reck Agri uses Twitter to post immediate results of an auction online with a photo, but we also use it as we do Facebook to alert clients and customers of upcoming events and/or auctions. You can also set your preferences in Twitter to receive "tweets" on your smartphone. As mentioned above, Twitter has been primarily used on a texting basis or through mobile device apps, but as a safeguard, you can also log into Twitter on a computer and "tweet" or read "tweets." If you haven't already, register to set up a Twitter account, click on the Twitter icon above to find the Reck Agri Page and "Follow" us to take advantage of this new tool Reck Agri is using.
